🥎 Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) is Airing on AWSN!

AWSN closed a deal with AUSL and will air their games this weekend! We are excited to be partnering with this incredible league featuring some of the best NCAA recruits of the last decade!

To get you pumped up for the season, get to know the AUSL league, teams, and players a little better!




AUSL


  • All 12 selections from the 2025 College Draft signed with the league and will make their professional debuts this weekend.

  • The four team rosters feature a combined 50 All-Americans and players from each of the past 11 NCAA Championship teams dating back to 2013 (not including 2025). 

  • Major League Baseball announced a strategic investment into the AUSL on May 29, 2025. A link to the announcement can be found here






Bandits


  • Pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl, the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Rookie of the Year, was the No. 1 overall pick in the Inaugural Draft earlier this year. 

  • The roster includes a pair of Team USA members - infielder Skylar Wallace and outfielder Bubba Nickles-Camarena

  • Rookie utility player Cori McMillan led NCAA Division I with 31 home runs this season while playing for Virginia Tech. 



Blaze


  • The Blaze's roster includes a pair of NCAA champions - pitchers Aleshia Ocasio (Florida in 2015) and Keilani Ricketts (Oklahoma in 2013).

  • There are two members of Team USA on the roster in pitcher Carley Hoover and infielder Aubrey Leach


Talons


  • Two former NCAA champions are on the Talons' roster - pitcher Megan Faraimo (UCLA in 2019) and infielder Sydney Romero (Oklahoma in 2016 & 2017).

  • Rookie infielder Bri Ellis tied the Southeastern Conference record by hitting 26 home runs this season, a mark that ranks third in NCAA Division I. 

  • Ellis was named the 2025 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year in addition to being a finalist for the Honda Sport Award for Softball. 


Volts


  • Four members of the Volts roster won NCAA titles during their college career, including Tiare Jennings (Oklahoma in 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024), Rachel Garcia (UCLA in 2019), infielder Kelsey Stewart-Hunter (Florida in 2014 & 2015) and infielder Jessi Warren (Florida State in 2018). 

  • Team USA is represented by outfielder Amanda Lorenz and catcher Dejah Mulipola

  • Volts General Manager Cat Osterman and Head Coach Kelly Kretschman competed together for Team USA at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. Kretschman was also teammates with Bandits Head Coach Stacey Nuveman Deniz on Team USA for the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
