AWSN, SAFF and SSC Launch First 24-Hour Women’s Sports Channel in Saudi Arabia featuring Saudi Professional Women's Sports on a Global level


Los Angeles, California – September 12, 2025 – In a landmark moment for women’s sports, All Women Sport Network (AWSN), the world’s largest dedicated, global 24-hour women’s sports network, is proud to announce the official launch of its channel in Saudi Arabia.


Beginning today, Friday, September 12, AWSN, co-founded by entertainment superstar Whoopi Goldberg, will make history by airing the SAFF Saudi Women’s Premier League both inside the Kingdom and globally through a groundbreaking partnership with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and the Saudi Sports Company (SSC), Saudi Arabia’s leading sports broadcaster


The “SSC AWSN” channel is available to millions of fans in Saudi Arabia via streaming platform MBC Shahid.


AWSN reaches over 1 billion homes around the world through a strong network of platforms, including Pluto TV (U.S., Canada, UK and Nordics), Amazon Prime Video (U.S.), SuperSport (Africa), Jio TV (India), Jungo Pinoy/Solar Sports (The Philippines), and e& (UAE), just in time for the kickoff of the 2025 Saudi Premier League season.

With more than 2,500 hours of live women’s sports annually, AWSN is setting a new global standard for representation in sports media. The SSC AWSN channel will feature a prime-time SAFF Women’s Premier League match every week, while also showcasing premier international competitions and leagues.


The channel will also include UEFA Women’s Competitions, D1 Arkema French League, FIBA 3×3 and 3XBA Basketball featuring top WNBA and NCAA talent, WNBL Basketball, Suncorp Super Netball, OBOS Damallsvenskan Swedish Football, H1 Field Hockey, ECCU Cricket, DGPT Pro Disc Golf Tour, Athletes Unlimited Softball, WFA (American Tackle Football), and Women’s Football Weekly with highlights from Serie A Italy, Bundesliga, Division I Féminine, and the Barclays Women’s Championship.
