Two straight wins, five goals, and an exceptional start to the 2025 OBOS Damallsvenskan season — Ellen Wangerheim has truly shown her class in the opening rounds of league play.

Motivation:The young star had a somewhat fragmented 2024 season, dealing with injuries and adapting to a new role. But after a winter free from injuries and another step forward in her development, the 20-year-old has looked nearly unstoppable in the start of OBOS

Title contenders Hammarby have kicked off their OBOS Damallsvenskan season in the best possible way with two wins, nine goals scored, and only one conceded. Striker Ellen Wangerheim has scored five of those goals — and that’s without attacking partner Cathinka Tandberg yet on the pitch.

In the season opener against Växjö DFF, Wangerheim netted a brace and followed up with a hattrick away against Linköping FC. During this period, she also made her debut for the Swedish national team and, if her form continues, she’s likely to be one of the most talked-about players in the league.
